Incredible space, light, and views of the water await at this expansive bayfront home in Galveston, scenically situated on the shores of Offatts Bayou with its own private dock. This home epitomizes indoor-outdoor living, whether you're barbecuing out back, playing with your kids in the yard, or sliding open the glass doors to let the sea breeze ripple through.

This two-story, waterfront home sits on an inlet of West Bay, just one mile north of the beach and the seawall in Galveston. Within a three-mile drive, you can be at Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, and the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, or in the heart of The Strand Historic District.

Spend much of your days outside in the beautiful backyard - dangling your feet from the dock, hosting afternoon barbecues on the gas grill, and unwinding in the shade of the oak tree with a gorgeous view of the bay.

The same view is showcased throughout the house, most notably with walls of picture windows in the living room, the formal dining room, the eat-in kitchen, and three of the bedrooms. Highlights of the open, spacious main floor include a large living room with a smart TV and desk workspace, an adjacent rec room with another TV and a shuffleboard table, and a fantastic kitchen with professional appliances (including two Viking gas ranges) and a TV of its own.

Of the bedrooms (all with smart TVs), one is a primary suite upstairs with a private balcony, a gas fireplace, and a wonderful bathroom and dressing room with a jetted tub overlooking the bay. There's a kids' room upstairs as well, and four bedrooms on the main floor - one with an en suite bathroom and two with direct access to the patio. A laundry room, central air conditioning, and complimentary WiFi are provided as well.

THINGS TO KNOW

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
