About this property

Hancock point maine is a working marina owned by an older gentleman named Phil. He is offering his space for guests to enjoy and we are working on expanding. Currently this campsite sits alongside the main driveway with stunning views to Mount Desert Island and a direct view of Bar Harbor. There is a beautiful beach to the right with wild roses, beach peas and apples trees. The marina is a working yard for some local lobstermen so you'll be able to see and hear the downeast maine working vibe. You can easily set up 2 tents along this site.Enjoy the above ground fireplace, tiki torches and charcoal grill. The bathroom and shower are just a short walk in the marina across from the sailboats. Please feel free to leave us feedback as we are just starting out and hope to provide you with a beautiful place to enjoy. Quiet time is 10 pm but enjoy a fire with your loved ones alongside the tide coming and going!

These campsites are in a working marina so there are people coming and coming throughout the day. So there is a good bit of working noise in the morning and usually between 3-6. Sometimes there are pets. Cats, dogs etc. We are trying to keep the marina a working waterfront, open to the public, and a place for airbnb.
