About this property

Forget your worries in this spacious yet serene space. Our cottage is a clean, cozy,1-bedroom/1-bath, fully furnished, for a comfortable stay away from home. Cozy Conch Shell Cottage is a private, smoke-free cottage in a quiet neighborhood; perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploration or work on the island. It features a full kitchen, equipped with dishes and appliances, a queen sized memory foam bed, Roku TV, wi-fi, linens and bath/beach towels, iron and board, and free onsite parking. We are located in the center of the island, close to hiking trails with historical ruins. We are about 7 minutes away from Cruz Bay, our main town and the beaches. It's just a 15 minute ride to Coral Bay. There are also restaurants, bars, clubs, a grocery store, a gas station, laundromat, and a clinic all in walking distance. Cozy Conch Shell Cottage is also on the public bus route.

Short Stay in St. John

All through the property did not have an ocean view, the views were only a short drive away. The cabin was clean and well kept. The property owner was extremely helpful and friendly. The only thing I would recommend to be changed would be how the front door swings open, it was a little awkward getting into the cabin.

We have 3 wonderful daughters who also help us to manage our properties. My husband and I designed and built our cottage and we truly hope you enjoy staying with us. It is our duty and honor to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Why they chose this property

Our Conch Shell Cottage is a spacious but intimate cottage that offers all the conveniences of home which makes this your home away from home. We are center island, nestled in a quiet neighborhood off the main road. This gives us easy access to Cruz Bay or the beaches and trails, or Coral Bay in the other direction. There's also restaurants and a grocery in walking distance, plus some night life in the area. However, we can leave the hustle and bustle of "city" life and come to a quiet relaxing atmosphere for a good night's rest. The cottage looks out into our garden and there's a descent sunset view from the area that can be taken in from our patio where there are chairs and a table to allow you to munch & sip while you wind down for the evening. The air is fresh and there's usually a gentle breeze. We do get occasional visits from our island's animals, like chickens, cats, and even deer. Or our house dog, Chello, may pay you a visit as well. But please, DO NOT FEED the animals.
